Game of Death
(1978)
Director: Robert Clouse
Starring: Bruce Lee, Gig Young, Dean Jagger, Colleen Camp
our comment. "They actually superimpose a still of Bruce Lee's face over the double's."
A Hong Kong protection racket run by Dr. Land demands that successful kung-fu film star Billy Lo join his management syndicate. When Billy refuses, despite repeated threats, Land puts out a contract on Billy. After a failed attempt on his life, Billy convinces journalist friend Jim Marshall to announce to the world that he is dead. Billy is now free to work in secret to destroy Dr. Land's organisation. The deception doesn't last and Billy finds himself drawn into a trap, with his girlfriend Ann as the bait.

This is so cheap it's not even fun, no dignity producers tries their best to cash in on Bruce Lee's death.

Story: 0/10 - This would have been a kick-ass film if not for one small problem, Bruce Lee died after completing 10 fucking minutes of it!

Acting: 0/10 - They actually superimpose a still of Bruce Lee's face over the double's.

Violence: 0/10 - The above scene had me rewinding so many times it left my thumb sore, and laughing so hard it hurt my chest.

Nudity: 0/10 - Some sleazy, naked women in cages would lift this picture to a less demeaning place, so naturally they skipped it.

Coolness: 0/10 - Bruce Lee shows up 80 minutes into the movie, and it's 89 minutes long. You do the math!
