The Gates of hell
aka City of the living dead (1980)
Director: Lucio Fulci
Starring: Christopher George, Katherine Maccoll, Robert Sampson, Janet Agren
our comment. "The hardest working bunch of no-talents from the early 80's."
When a priest commits suicide in a graveyard, he unlocks one of the seven secret doorways to Hell (he couldn't even do THAT right!), unleashing evil supernatural forces in a small New England town.

One of the goriest, maggot-filled zombie movie of the early 80's.

Story: 2/10 - Strictly gory, even seemingly unrelated subplots go bananas with blood and goo.

Acting: 2/10 - The hardest working bunch of no-talents from the early 80's.

Violence: 9/10 - Does the infamous power-drill-through-a-head scene paint a suitable picture for you.

Nudity: 0/10 - Nothing, very dissapointing Lucio.

Coolness: 3/10 - Fulci manages to maintain a level of eerie atmosphere, but it's not one of his best.
