Robert Harper was an average entrepreneur with a comfortable life, until his plane crashed near an isolated development in New Guinea. When a cruel twist of fate separates him from his companion Rolf (?!), Robert finds himself stranded alone in the jungle. He discovers a native civilization hidden there, but they are a cruel tribe of cannibals with only malicious intentions. Tortured and humiliated, Robert is taken to the edge of his sanity by a series of horrible acts. Luckily a native woman becomes "devoted" to him and brings him food. They escape for some wild jungle sex, but she's captured, killed, sliced open, and filled with hot coals (ouch!).

One of the first Italian Cannibal movies, Deodato later made the infamous Cannibal Holocaust.

Story: 2/10 - What the fuck is he doing down there anyhow, jeezus!

Acting: 2/10 - What I don't get, if they're such a bunch of losers why do they give them so much dialogue.

Violence: 8/10 - Not the worst of the bunch, but still pretty excessive.

Nudity: 9/10 - The sex is more surprising than the gore, and how often do you get to see primitive natives with breast implants.

Coolness: 3/10 - Seen one seen them all!
