Innocent blood
aka Bloody Marie (1992)
Director: John Landis
Starring: Anne Parrilaud, Anthony Lapaglia, Robert Loggia
our comment. "More blood than a night in with the Marquis de Sade."
Anne Parillaud is Marie, a vampire who imperils Pittsburgh when she fails to kill off one of her victims, mob boss Sal Macelli. Sal realizes what a lucky stiff he is: a vampire with deadly powers! If Marie and her undercover boyfriend can't stop the mobster's new "family" of goons, Pittsburgh will be the pits.

Horror, action and sick humour mixed to genre-defining effect.
