Petty criminal Wilson is thrown into the penal hell of Connorville. Here she must fight against ruthless inmates and even more cruel, corrupt and depraved officials to survive. Soon she forms a friendship with two hardened inmates. When the three unite, they find themselves on a sexy and violent adventure looking for money, power and revenge.

Written and directed by Jonathan Demme, who has later moved on to bigger stuff like "The Silence of the lambs" and "Philadelphia". This was his first feature and has now become sort of a cult classic. Highly recommended for any fan of deviant film-making!

Story: 6/10 - Without a doubt the finest babes-behind-bars films, but the plot is not surprisingly recycled.

Acting: 7/10 - Cult-diva Barbara Steele is quite good as the wheelchair-ridden prison warden.

Violence: 4/10 - This movie promises naked women in prison, so why would we crave for violence. We can't have it all.

Nudity: 10/10 - Half the movie is filmed in the prison shower, and some of the actresses (ahem!) are constantly naked, but still with more dignity than the entire female cast of Baywatch.

Coolness: 9/10 - The tagline for this one is "white hot desire melting cold prison steel!", these women gets to bare all, shoot guns and utter cool lines like "open up a can of kick-ass".
