The Warriors must find their way back to their home turf of Coney Island after being falsely accused of killing a gang messiah. Every street gang in New York city are looking for them so they must fight for their lives to survive in the urban jungle, and maybe learn a thing or two about loyalty in the process.
This action adventure story takes place at night, underground, in the sub-culture of gang warfare that rages from Coney Island to Manhattan to the Bronx. Quite possibly the coolest gang movie ever made. Check it out!

Story: 8/10 - Classic Walter Hill stuff, a small group against everyone. It makes great film-making and this is one of his finest moments.
Acting: 6/10 - They're all a bit too hard-assed, but they're never annoying. David Patrick Kelly is as usual a psycho weasel.
Violence: 6/10 - A lot of fight scenes, with baseball-bats and switchblades, but it all seems very choreographed and nonlethal. One gang member is run over by the subway.
Nudity: 2/10 - The actors and actresses in this film we're NOT picked out because of their gorgeous looks or their charming personalities.
Coolness: 9/10 - It has groovy tunes, and street gangs with catchy names like - The Gramercy Riffs, The Baseball Furies, and an all-girl gang called The Lizzies. Can you dig it!, CAAAAAN you dig it!
...a litle something from our surveilance?
