I spit on your grave
aka Day of the woman (1978)
Director: Meir Zarchi
Starring: Camille Keaton, Eron Tabor, Richard Pace
our comment. "...leave this piece of filth alone, I wish I had."
Jenny, a New Yorker who goes to a secluded country retreat to finish her novel is one day assaulted, raped (repeatedly) and left for dead by four "country boys". She manages to survive and two weeks later the nearly catatonic woman gets revenge by killing them in variuos ways (one guy is killed Lorena Bobbitt style).

Banned in the UK and Germany, this movie is just known for it's sheer sleaziness and the fact that it was meant to be a feminist statement originally titled "Day of the woman" (good guy Meir Zarchi changed the title in order to cash in on the popular Italian gore scene back in those days) is just laughable and pathetic.

Story: 1/10 - One of the most notorious pieces of trash ever put to celluloid, the story covers every cliché in the book.

Acting: 2/10 - Why anybody would want to be in this film is beyond me, poor Camille Keaton must have been very broke and very desperate.

Violence: 10/10 - This movie is disgusting even by exploitation standards, you'll have a hard time scrubbing the violation of miss Keaton off of your brain.

Nudity: 6/10 - Camille Keaton has her clothes ripped off by four assholes, and then later decides to rip her own clothes off in order to lure these jerks with her beauty and femininity. This is one twisted and sick movie.

Coolness: 0/10 - if you want a good revenge movie see Wes Craven's "Last house on the left", and leave this piece of filth alone, I wish I had.
