Mission to Mars
(2000)
Director: Brian de Palma
Starring: Gary Sinise, Don Cheadle, Tim Robbins, Kim Delaney
our comment. "...just too bad they don't have shit to work with."
The year is 2020, zzzzzzzz, the first manned mission to Mars lands safely on the angry red planet. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz. The martian landscape uncovers a bizarre and shocking secret that leads to a mysterious disaster, where several crewmembers are killed ( these are the only remotely interesting minutes of the film). Zzzzzzzzzz, Nasa decide to launch a Mars rescue mission (good thinking, I was worried for a minute there that they didn't care). Back to sleep, and if your lucky you won't wake up before the movie is over (unfortunately I did).

Just my luck!

Story: 3/10 - Basically an over-water version of "The Abyss". Over-sentimental and boring as hell.

Acting: 5/10 - The actors are great, just too bad they don't have shit to work with. Did anybody actually think that this movie could turn out good?

Violence: 0/10 - Nope!

Nudity: 0/10 - Nope! (...and just when you need it the most)

Coolness: 0/10 - Nope!
