our comment. "... would have gone unnoticed, if it hadn't been for all the great acting."
After being released from prison after taking the fall for a group of his friends, Leo Handler just wants to get his life back on track. But when he takes a job with his powerfully influential Uncle Frank (who is a feared mobster in the dangerous train parts mafia!?) and reconnects with his old friend Willie, Leo finds himself smack dab in the middle of trouble and even more trouble. He witnesses a murder he was not meant to see, and suddenly he realizes that he is the target of the city's most ruthless family - his own!

This is a sort of "authentic" gangster flick with more drama than thrills. It works on some levels, it's just too bad we've seen it all a million times before.

Story: 4/10 - Here lies the film's greatest weakness, the story is never really involving or entertaining.

Acting: 8/10 - This movie would have gone unnoticed, if it hadn't been for all the great acting.

Violence: 1/10 - Should be a vital part of any gangster flick!

Nudity: 0/10 - should be a vital part...!

Coolness: 4/10 - It was good seeing James Caan again, but train parts!? what would the Don say?
